It's a genuine question, I'm not a pro-kremlin fanatic or anything like that.
Ukraine is broke and close to default, torn by civil war, their currency is rubbish, inflation went through the roof, the EU and US that promised them a bright future don't give a fuck anymore apparently, they're just sending some military trainers and non-letal supplies but not a single penny.
The current government is made of clowns, they can't even pay the gas bill. They're endorsing people that proudly display nazi flags while fighting with the regular troops, in a country where millions gave their life to defeat the Germans in WW2. Their military campaign was a disaster (see what happened in Debaltseve) and what is the government doing to «win the war»? Stop paying pensions to old people in the east and planning to build a wall on the border with Russia which will cost millions (I'm dead serious, look it up). Are they fu****g for real?
So my question is, why isn't the army taking over? Remove the government, declare the state of emergency, normalise the situation in the east starting a meaningful and realistic dialogue with the rebels (which should include federalisation of the country if needed) and Russia, disarm the extremists. Once the situation has been stabilised, new elections can be called.
